Should i download the disney app before buying tickets?

Disney makes it easy! You can use the app to make managing your plans inside the park a breeze! You will need to download the Disneyland app for a Disneyland vacation. Booking dining reservation inside the park or at the resorts is super easy using the My Disney Experience app. Just log in and see the available dining times at your favorite Disney restaurants.

You no longer have to dig around for a key card; with one push of a button your room door will be unlocked. By signing up to receive this packing list you will be added to our newsletter. This has to be one of my favorite features of the My Disney Experience app. We use this feature to make the best use of our time inside the Disney parks.

They or you just might not be able to handle morning, afternoon and night in the parks for days in a row. If so, by all means! In that case, one of the things I love to do is walk over to Epcot in the evening, eat in one of the restaurants there and then just stroll around. If you are staying in an Epcot resort then it might be worth it to you to get the Park Hopper option.

Should you do it? Again it depends a bit on your schedule. If you are going in swimming season and you like Water Parks then get it, both of them are fantastic! Tip: The Water Parks add-on does not count against your main park days. You can go three days to the theme parks and three more days to the water parks.

This can save you significant money if you thought you needed instead a 6 day ticket for this itinerary! There are two types of Passes, Platinum and Platinum Plus. They offer mostly the same things: Full access to the 4 Theme Parks and some perks like: Free Parking, special offers on room rates and packages and the option to buy a Tables in Wonderland card.

The difference in the Platinum Plus card is you have the Water Parks option added. So if you spend a lot in restaurants it may be worth it for one person in your party to have so you can get savings for everyone. The pass lasts days from when you first use it. We would buy the Platinum Pass then go for example at the end of March one year, then book another trip for the middle of March the following year, but within the day window. One more tip I wanted to tell you: Whatever kind of pass you buy, make sure to make a photocopy of it right away.

I say that because if you lose your ticket or it gets stolen, the only hope you have to getting it replaced by Disney is having that number on the back of your pass. So photocopy it, take a picture on your phone, or whatever you need to do, because you will be super happy later if you lose it!

I hope that gave you a little more clarity into buying Disney World tickets, It can be quite confusing sometimes!! Do you have to import those separately?? What to do? Had no problem with my Droid or lightsaber reservations, or even my dining reservations with Genie. Note, android users, you might have to search for My Disney experience app in Google play then update. But when I manually searched for app in Google play and clicked update, it worked. Boycott it and this nightmare will go away.

Michelle, I also have not seen an option for this online or on the app. Justin, I hear you. It sounds like everyone had trouble with that. I would recommend calling Disney to see if they can do it for you from their end. Sherry, that sounds frustrating! Hopefully you will have an easier time getting through.

Lynn, no way to know at this point, but we will continue to report when we see something notable. Then you'll assign it to the person the ticket belongs to Easy peasy.

I just went through the steps on my phone as I typed and it took me less than 5 minutes. You can also link the tickets to your My Disney Experience on your computer. Here's how to do that Log into the My Disney Experience website On the top right of your screen, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab This will open up a drop-down window.

Select "My Plans" Scroll down and hover over the "Park Tickets" tab this will open up another drop-down window. Select "Link Tickets" From there you'll need to type the ID number on the back of your ticket or the confirmation number You'll next assign it to the owner of the ticket Confirm That's it!

I think this step-by-step guide will help you link your tickets in no time. If you have trouble, come back and we can figure it out together. Please Sign In to view your saved answers. In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!
